Hockey week 4

Kia Ora,
Today we learned more about hockey some of us learned different skills, one of the skill's that I learned was if someone one else has the ball from the other team your hockey stick has to touch the ground before you take the ball off them.

Gymnastics Week 4

Hello,
Today we went to gymnastics and today focus was rotation. That means stuffs like forward rolling, half turn jump, being upside down and other stuffs. We even played a fun game called everyone is it. Every body enjoyed this weeks lesson.

Hockey

Yesterday we played hockey, but it was raining so we played in the hall. We didn't get to play a game together because it wasn't safe. So we learned how to control the ball. We leaned really cool tricks like passing the ball to each  other.

Gymnastics week 3

Hi,
Today I went to gymnastics and we learned how to land properly , you had to land in a motor bike shape because if you do not land in a motor bike shape you could fall and get hurt. I learned lots of amazing skills and the one I most liked was beat board.

Chess

Kia ora, 

Yesterday we all leaned how to play chess and the history about, it is a really cool story how chess was created, let me tell you about it.

Long ago in India there was a king who liked to fight in was but he was to

lazy to fight in it. So he told one of his servants to go and make a game for him. So the Servants built a game that was called chess.

That's how the game was made. 

The aim of the game is to keep your king alive if your king dies that means you are out.

Gymnastic week 2

This week we learned more and different trisks in gymnastic.

It was really fun, we did activities, the warm up was a really cool game.

Explain Everything

This week and last week our group have been learning how to solve hard multiplication. The strategy we learned was really easy.

Hockey

Today we have been learning new tricks and techniques in hockey. Our coaches name was Mr Bryan and he was really good at explaining how to hold the stick and how to control the ball.

Spelling

This week we have been practicing our spelling words. And we did it a different way then we did last year, its's muck easier. We had some tasks to do, but we didn't have time to do all of them. So next week we are going to try to do more.

Gymnastics

Today we had gymnastics and we learned lots of cool tricks, it was a lot of fun. These are some of the the tricks and position that we learned L shape, tuck shape, front support, rear support, landing, static, straddle, Tuck jump, bunny hop and star jump.

We were learning static movement patterns as well.
